Preparatory Program
PSFL offers four intensive English Language Prep Programs: P4-F (upper-intermediate), P3-F (intermediate), P2-F (pre-intermediate), and P1-F (elementary). Students are placed in one of these programs according to the scores they get in the Placement Test given at the beginning of the academic year. Those who complete English preparatory program and pass the Proficiency Exam have the right to begin their faculty education.)

Announcement about TOEFL, IBT and PTE Exams
* In accordance with the decision of University Senate No: 808 on 27.07.2022, TOEFL IBT Special Home Edition exam results will not be accepted as of the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year.
** In accordance with decision of the University Senate no: 838 on 06.07.2023 TOEFL IBT and PTE Academic exam results must be taken from the exam centers in state universities as of the 2023-2024 Academic Year Fall Semester. Score Reports whose validity have not expired for 2 years will be accepted for students who have been accepted to the university before this period and have been registered for certain.
*** According to the University Senate decision dated 22.01.2026 and numbered 903, in order for the OTE Advanced (Oxford Test of English) exam result, which has been newly added to the equivalence table within the scope of ITU Valid English Exams and Minimum Scores, to be accepted by our university, it must have been obtained from test centers in state universities, just like the TOEFL iBT and PTE Academic exams.
